Yes you have lodged the claim, you claim no is noted above. I can add the installed CD writer in your claim as it has been stolen along with the cpu unit, so that’s fine.

Also Proof of Purchase can consist of: photos, packages in which the items came from, owners manuals, bank transactions, home videos of the items, confirmation from the shop the item was originally purchased from etc, so if you have any of these please advise.

Please confirm if you still want me to add the CD Writer to your claim.

Thank you

Jackie

Hugh, if you recently have had a CD Writer installed in the hard drive, then you just need to advise us, preferably when you lodge the claim. If you like I can add this on to your claim now if this is the case? Also I need to ask if you have any proof of purchase for these items at all please? I will await your response.

Thank you

Jackie

Jackie

If there was more than one hard drive in the computer and a recently installed cd writer does that need to be put in the claim seperately

Hi Hugh

Your claim ref: 04732268

Your claim is not accepted as yet until we receive the police information – file no and/or police report. Once received, we can look at acceptance of your claim and organise a settlement being replacement of the stolen goods.

Should the claim be accepted, there will be an excess of $150 payable to whoever should replace the stolen items.

If the police find out who committed the crime please contact us so that we can hold them liable for the burglary, and possibly reimburse or waive the excess.

Thank you and if you have any queries please reply to this email.
